Manage assets and asset groups

Assets are the equipment you service — transformers, breakers, motors, and more. Grouping them and linking them to jobs keeps every measurement, photo, and report tied to the right gear.
Create an asset on the web
Open Assets and select + Create. You can also create from a project: Assets → Add → Create.
Enter a Name.
Optionally set Group and Status, then select Create.
Asset groups
Open Asset groups, or select Create group under Group on the asset form.
Enter a Name and select Create. Assign assets from the asset form, or open the group and add them there.
Link assets to jobs
From a project, open Assets → Add → Link or Create. A work order uses Organize the same way.
In the app
Open Organize on a project or work order, then tap + to create or link. Status and asset group can be set on the asset.
Linked assets are listed by group. Ungrouped assets sit in their own section.
Tips
- An asset belongs to one group at a time. Remove from group does not delete the asset.
- An asset can be linked to many projects and work orders at once.
- Assets are listed by group; ungrouped items sit in their own section.
