Attach assets to a project

Assets are the equipment records you service. Linking them to a project keeps measurements, photos, and reports tied to the right gear.
On the web

Open the project. In the right sidebar, find Assets and select Add.

Choose Link for an existing asset or Create for a new one.

Enter a Name. Group and Status are optional. Then select Create.
In the app

Open the project or work order, go to Organize, then tap + on Linked assets.

Tap Link or Create. The asset then shows under Linked assets.
Tips
- From a work order, open Organize to attach assets to that job too.
- Field techs can create an asset from the job so the link is automatic.
