Attach assets to a project

Assets are the equipment records you service. Linking them to a project keeps measurements, photos, and reports tied to the right gear.

On the web

1. Open the project. In the right sidebar, find Assets.
2. Select Add, then choose Link (existing asset) or Create (new one).

3. If you create one, enter a Name, optionally set group and status, then select Create.

Linked assets show in the project sidebar. From a work order, open Links to attach assets to that job too.

On the mobile app

Open the project or work order and go to the Links tab, then tap + to link or create an asset.

Field techs can create assets from the job so the link is automatic.
